Get Ready Nashville - Here Comes The FWDCan you believe the huge part our district will play at the international convention in Nashville this Summer? First we have Three FWD Chorusesthat qualified this year. With the Masters of Harmony, Spirit of Phoenix, and the Voices in Harmony all going, it's going to be an incredible contest. Then we haveSeven FWD Quartetsin the quartet contest this time that have some real possibility of some top scores. If you can't be at Nashville this year, you can have a "near Nashville" quartet experience by attending the Go For The Gold show in Fullerton June 14. See their GFTG Show Flyer for all the details. If you can't go, buy a ticket anyway. It'll support the quartets and the ticket will be given to a student. Then, believe it or not, we haveFour College Quartetsthat qualified for the Collegiate Quartet Contest this year. If you are in a chapter near one of these quartets, how about helping them financially? The Placerville chapter has decided to hold a benefit show and homemade dessert buffet to support Epic from Sacramento State University. You can see their flyer at Epic Cabaret Show. The other qualifying college quartets are The University Vocal Band Express(SCE), Sin City Four(AzSnSu), and TAGTEAM(AzSnSu). Find them, support them, and invite them to be on your next chapter show. But there is more to the college quartet story. This year we awardedFour College Division Champsand they have the plaques in hand to prove it. These college quartets are YOUR division champs.
